South Sydney District JRFL LTD - RESPONSE TO COVID -19
The South Sydney District Junior Rugby Football League advises today that all club training sessions and trial matches for junior league are cancelled. Use of local grounds for organised Rugby League activity will be cancelled from 4.00pm Tuesday 17th of March until further notice. We await further guidance from the NSWRL in regards to the commencement of the 2020 season. This will be forthcoming in the very near future and clubs and members will be updated accordingly.
Note that this is a precautionary measure, but it is our intention with this directive that we do our bit to reduce unnecessary social contact in the hope of limiting the spread of the Covid-19 virus in our community, which hopefully allows us to get on the field sooner rather than later in 2020.
Your understanding on this matter is appreciated. All clubs will be kept up to date with the latest information so members can contact their local club secretary for further information as it comes to hand.
