CODE OF CONDUCT

It is important for the benefit of the Children that we lead by example.  Inappropriate language and behavior is not acceptable and under no circumstances will be tolerated.

  • Be a good sport and respect all good play whether from your team or the opposition.

  • Participate for your own enjoyment and benefit.

  • Always’ respect the Referee’s decision.

  • Never become involved with acts of foul play.

  • Honor the spirit and respect the traditions of the gameShake hands with and thank the opposition players and officials after the game – win, lose or draw.

  • Care and respect the facilities and equipment made available to you during training and competition games.

  • Never engage in any disrespectful conduct that is demeaning to other players, officials and supporters.

 

ZERO TOLERANCE

Any person reported to the League and found guilty by the League of breaching the Code of Conduct will face severe penalties.  Grounds persons, Club Officials and Referees are instructed to immediately stop a game of rugby league if a person/s are seen or heard breaching the code. That person/s will be asked to leave the ground before the game resumes.  If this instruction is not adhered to, the game is to be terminated. The Management Committee will determine which side (if any) will be awarded the competition points after the Conduct Panel has heard all evidence.

  • ABUSE or OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE to any Player, Referee, Touch Judge, Official or other spectator is unacceptable and will not be TOLERATED
     

  • DISPUTING the decision of the Referee or Touch Judge is unacceptable and will not be TOLERATED
     

  • ASSAULT or acting AGGRESSIVE in any manner to any other person is unacceptable and will not be TOLERATED
     

  • Exhibiting RACISM either by LANGUAGE or CONDUCT is unacceptable and will not be TOLERATED and any other breaches of the CODE of CONDUCT will not be TOLERATED.

Ground/s Person/s and Club Officials are instructed to report in writing to the League Office any person breaching the code.  Breaching the CODE of CONDUCT will result in the registration of the Player/s that may be related to that person, terminated. 

This acts a very strong reminder of the “Zero Tolerance” that this Club has for any “Unacceptable Behavior” including “Cyber Bullying”.
